What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a primary healthcare that is built on the foundational belief that the body has an innate capacity to repair and adapt. Naturopathic doctors are educated and trained in accredited naturopathic medical colleges. They diagnose, prevent, and treat acute and chronic illness to restore and establish optimal health by supporting the person's inherent self-healing process.
Naturopathic medicine emphasizes addressing the causes of disease and there is a focus on physical, mental, emotional, environmental and social factors that may be contributing to a person’s state of being.
INITIAL CONSULTATIONS
Seeing an ND for the first time is similar to seeing an MD as all primary care providers review health history and request standard diagnostic tests.
Your initial consultation will involve an in-depth gathering of information regarding your chief concerns and health history. A physical exam may be performed and labs may be recommended to guide your treatment plan. An individualized treatment plan will be created, catered directly to your needs.
FOLLOWUP CONSULTATIONS
These are used to track progress around your health journey and address new concerns. Modalities that may be involved in your treatment plan include Acupuncture, B12 injections, Pharmaceuticals, Nutraceuticals, MIC Injections, IV Iron Therapy, Injection therapy, IV nutrient therapy, Neural Therapy, Menopause Hormone Therapy, Clinical Nutrition and Lifestyle Counselling and lab testing/re-testing.

With a diverse range of tools at our disposal, we can address your concerns from multiple perspectives, ensuring a thorough and effective treatment plan.
A B12 injection provides a concentrated dose of vitamin B12, essential for energy, nerve function, and red blood cell production. It’s often recommended for people with B12 deficiency, fatigue, or absorption issues to quickly restore levels and improve overall vitality.
MIC injections contain a blend of methionine, inositol, and choline—compounds that may help metabolize fat and support liver health. They’re often used in weight management programs to aid in fat breakdown, boost energy, and promote a healthy metabolism.
Trigger point injections deliver a small amount of anesthetic or saline directly into painful muscle knots, or "trigger points," to relieve tension and reduce pain. They are commonly used to treat chronic muscle pain, improve mobility, and enhance muscle relaxation in areas prone to tightness.
Prolotherapy is an injection-based treatment that introduces a natural irritant, like dextrose, to stimulate the body’s healing response in damaged tendons, ligaments, or joints. It’s often used to treat chronic pain and promote tissue repair by encouraging the growth of new, healthy connective tissue.
Acupuncture involves the insertion of thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate energy flow and promote natural healing. It's commonly used to relieve pain, reduce stress, and address various health concerns by balancing the body’s energy systems.
A neuromodulator injection temporarily relaxes targeted muscles by blocking nerve signals, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It's often used in cosmetic treatments to create a smoother, more youthful appearance, particularly in areas prone to expression lines like the forehead and around the eyes.
IV nutrient therapy delivers a blend of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants directly into the bloodstream, providing rapid and efficient nutrient absorption. It’s often used to boost energy, support immunity, and enhance overall wellness, especially for those with nutrient deficiencies or increased physical demands.
An IV iron infusion delivers iron directly into the bloodstream, allowing for quick absorption and replenishment of iron levels in the body. It’s typically used to treat iron deficiency or iron deficiency anemia, helping to increase energy, improve focus, and reduce symptoms like fatigue and weakness.
Clinical lifestyle and nutrition coaching provides personalized guidance on diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes to support overall health and address specific health concerns. It’s often used to empower individuals to make sustainable changes that improve energy, manage weight, and prevent or manage chronic conditions.
Menopause hormone therapy (MHT) involves the administration of hormones, such as estrogen and progesterone, to alleviate symptoms associated with menopause, like hot flashes, mood swings, and vaginal dryness. It aims to restore hormonal balance, improve quality of life, and reduce the risk of osteoporosis and other long-term health issues during the menopausal transition.
